  The National 4-H Youth Conference Center is located in Maryland on Connecticut Avenue, one mile north of Chevy Chase Circle and Washington, D.C. Directions From South of Washington, DC
  • Follow signs to the Capital Beltway (I-495 West)
  • Get off the Capital Beltway at Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue SOUTH - towards Chevy Chase)
  • Go about 2 1/2 miles - National 4-H Youth Conference Center will be your right at 7100 Connecticut Avenue
Dulles Airport - 26 miles
  • Taxicab: available from terminals. Airport bus - ask for assitance at the Ground Transportation Desk
  • Car: take Dulles Airport Road to Route 495 (Beltway) toward Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Take exit #33, which Is Connecticut Avenue, SOUTH towards Chevy Chase. Continue to 7100 Connecticut Avenue
Directions Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport - 12 miles
  • Metrorail on Blue Line to Metro Center or Yellow Line to Gallery Place, transfer to Red Line towards Friendship Heights Metro Station (Shady Grove is the end of the line)
  • Taxicab: Ride-on Bus #1, #11 or Metrobus L8 to the Center. Taxicab available from terminals
  • Car: follow signs to Washington, D.C. - 14th Street Bridge/Memorial Bridge. Follow signs for 14th Street, take left at Constitution Avenue, then a right on 17th Street. Follow 17th Street as it turns into Connecticut Avenue. Continue to 7100 Connecticut Avenue
Baltimore
  • Go south on I-95
  • Take Exit 27 to Silver Spring and I-495 West
  • Take Exit 33 to Connecticut Avenue SOUTH - towards Chevy Chase

  • Connecticut Avenue Traveling South on I-270
  • Follow signs to Washington, DC and I-495
  • Take the exit for College Park and Silver Spring, I-495
  • Continue on I-495 to Exit 33, Connecticut Avenue SOUTH - towards Chevy Chase
  • Go about 2 1/2 miles - National 4-H Youth Conference Center will be your right at 7100 Connecticut Avenue Metrorail and Bus (For additional information call 202-637-7000)
  • Take the Red Line to Friendship Heights Metro Station (towards the Shady Grove station)
  • From Friendship Heights, take a taxicab, Ride-On bus #1 or #11, or Metrobus L8 to the National 4-H Youth Conference Center
